Vicki was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in high school she studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art and the Philadelphia College of Art, was the only girl on the boys’ track team and a rodeo rider, excelling at barrel racing. She received a Bachelors of Art with honors in art history and studio arts at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a Masters of Art from the University of San Francisco State's Experimental and Interdisciplinary Arts program and a Masters of Fine Art from the University of California, Berkeley.
She has created art installations, and shown her work in many Bay Area alternative spaces. Vicki has lived in Berkeley for the last thirty years, where she worked as a graphic designer and raised two children. She has designed and illustrated a range of projects for both corporate and non-profit clients and has taught at community colleges and been an artist in residence with both elderly and autistic artists. As a member of the Berkeley-Sakai Art Association she has traveled to Japan for an art exchange and coordinated the Japanese artists visit in 2014.
